Dr. Gronstedt is a partner in the Frankfurt Office of Haarmann Rechtsanwälte. He was admitted to the Bar in 1990 and is admitted as a notary in Frankfurt am Main.

Sebastian heads the Corporate Real Estate Team and advises German and Interna-tional clients in all aspects of Corporate Real Estate and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Before joining Haarmann in 2008, Sebastian was an international partner with Baker & McKenzie and since 2001 a partner at SJ Berwin’s Frankfurt Office. Together with Thomas Flügel he established and developed SJ Berwin’s German Real Estate De-partment.

Sebastian has advised on asset and share deal transactions in a variety of industry sectors, in particular office, retail, high street retail, logistics, pensions homes, residential, hotels and industrial estates.

Recent high profile transactions include advising on the acquisition and sale of Tele-kom-Center Munich a landmark building of 10 Office Towers in Munich, the acquisi-tion of "Königsbaupassagen Stuttgart" a prime retail and shopping center in the city center of Stuttgart, acquisition of a high end retail property on Goethestrasse Frankfurt, the acquisition of the court center in Halle, and the acquisition of the Ham-burg Radisson SAS Hotel at Hamburg’s Congress Center.

Sebastian is a German lawyer educated at the Universities of Tübingen and Kiel in Germany, Geneva in Switzerland and – as a Fulbright scholar – at the School of Law of Indiana University, Bloomingtion, Indiana, USA, where he received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree. Sebastian received his doctoral degree from the University of Regensburg. Sebastian is a scholar of the German scholarship foundation and the Bavarian graduate scholarship program. He is a member of the Chamber of Attorneys as well as the Chamber of Notaries in Frankfurt.
